This is a blog, which is like an online diary. The difference is that anyone in the world can read blogs, but only you can post (after you've been invited by me through the site.) On most blogs, anyone can leave comments and read posts, but because this is a school project, we're going to keep it secure. Only invited class members can read, post and make comments. You can also add many things to your posts, such as pictures, videos, links, polls, etc. . . but they must all be relevant to the assignment.
Here is a link to introduce you to blogs and how they work in education. Please take a moment to read some of the pages with a parent. The best way for us to blog is to be open and honest in our communication so we can all gain the most from this experience.
This blog will only be used for class assignments and not for things personal in nature. This does not mean that your personal feelings have no place on this blog, just that published posts must be in response to a class assignment. You must be aware that anyone in our class can read what you post. It is for our eyes only, so post only what you're comfortable with.
